American Canoe Association (ACA) Kayak Instructor George E. Sayour has instructed countless paddlers over the last 18 years, paddling in 25 states and 3 countries. He currently resides in South Florida and is the content manager, writer, and editor for the for the Paddling page of the NY Times owned About.com website: Paddling.About.com.
Experience:

George is a seasoned kayaker and canoeist who has been a participant and paddling instructor for the majority of his life. During this time he has instructed on kayak and kayaking basics, technique, river running and safety. He currently resides in the Sunshine State (South Florida) and can be frequently found in his kayak on the waterways of Florida and wherever rivers run around the country. He is an American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Kayak Instructor and a member of American Whitewater (AW). George published his first book at the end of 2006 and is an "Active Member" of both the Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA) and the Florida Outdoor Writers Assocation (FOWA).
